eston, VA — The Grand Opening cer- emony and celebration for Reston’s newest apart- ment community, Aperture at Reston Station was held on April 5, 2018. There was a ribbon-cutting and VIP recep- tion, followed by a celebratory party. The event was attended by 300+ guests, including Aperture developers, The Bozzuto Group and Chuck Veatch , local dignitaries, key project partners, Aperture residents and their guests. Aperture is located across from the Metrorail entrance at 11410 Reston Station Blvd.

A celebration followed from 6-9 PM, with a live band, flavorful spreads from local restaurants and caterers, specialty cocktails, a popular “Selfie Station” featuring Na- ture’s Best Photography, and tours of the Aperture’s unique amenities and model units. Aperture is a new focal point in Reston, located at 11410 Reston Station Blvd. Aperture is a “Flash of Brilliant Living” less than one block from the W&OD Trail, and steps away from the Reston-Wiehle Me- trorail Station (currently the terminus of this Silver Line route). It's a place where more great moments happen natu- rally and effortlessly. A place with plenty of light, space, and friendly vibes “to let all the good stuff in,” Aperture is a 5-story mixed-use complex of 421 apartment homes “Where Life Meets Art.” Aperture offers forward- thinking amenities – zones to relax or connect, an out- door pet play area, a pet spa where you can treat your dog to a bath and grooming, a saltwater swimming pool in a tranquil courtyard, multi- level garage parking, bicycle storage, fitness center, street- level retail, and much more. Chuck Veatch developed Aperture in a joint venture between Reston based devel- oper Chuck Veatch and The Bozzuto Group. Aperture is built on land Veatch has owned for years, formerly the site of Reston Mini-Storage and Business Park. He is the founder of The Charles A. Veatch Co., chairman of the board of Nature’s Best Pho- tography, and photographer and publisher of the book, The Nature of Reston. Veatch was among the first sales staff for Reston homes in 1964 after he graduated from Univer- sity of Virginia, working with Reston’s visionary founder, Robert E. Simon, Jr. He is one of few recipients of the Robert E. Simon Lifetime Achieve- ment Award for community service. Among his ongoing support for the arts and many accomplishments, Veatch cur- rently serves on the board of Reston Historic Trust, and on the Advisory Board of the Po- tomac Conservancy. He is also past chair and current mem- ber of the Board of Trustees at Shenandoah University, and Real Estate Fellow at the University of Virginia. 
