ERSEY CITY, NJ — Fisher Development Associates announced today that Vantage, its new luxury rental high-rise in downtown Jersey City has received LEED certification from the U.S. Green Build- ing Council (USGBC) . Located at 33 Park View Avenue, the 45-story water- front building achieved LEED certification for implement- ing practical and measur- able strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high per- formance in: sustainable site development, water savings, J
energy efficiency, and indoor environmental quality. The LEED rating system, devel- oped by the USGBC, is the foremost program for build- ings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance. Vantage features 448 rental apartments and approximate- ly 5,000 s/f of supportive retail space. Lying in between Luis Munoz Marin Blvd. and South Cove in Jersey City’s Liberty Harbor North neighborhood, the glass curtain wall tower offers a convenient location just steps frommass transpor- tation at the Liberty Harbor Light Rail Station, as well as the Grove Street and Ex- change Place PATH stations and New YorkWaterway ferry service. “It is a great honor to be rec- ognized by the USGBC and to become LEED certified,” said Brian Fisher , principal of Fisher Development Associ- ates. “Vantage is an excellent example of how urban build- ings can promote a cleaner, healthier lifestyle for residents while positively impacting the environment.
