broker for six years. Many of my clients came to me with questions unrelated to their financing (i.e. ownership structure, tax consequences, etc.) After being asked to serve as a general advisor to my clients and not just a mort- gage broker, I knew I wanted to be an attorney. In 2012, I quit my job and enrolled in law school full time. In 2015, I began my career as an at- torney. Now, I regularly represent real estate owners and inves- tors in the purchase, sale and financing of various types of

commercial property. I also represent local and regional lending institutions in trans- actions securing commercial real estate and other busi- ness assets. Finally, I appear before municipal zoning and planning boards on behalf of my client and represent both landlords and tenants in com- mercial leasing transactions. What was the most defin- ing moment for you? As a commercial mortgage broker, my compensation was 100% commission. I spent the first year of my career work- ing on the refinance of a large portfolio of properties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A week before closing, the deal died, along with my chances of a commission check. Ac- cepting failure and moving forward was a defining mo- ment for me. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive gradu- ating from college today? Always be the hardest worker in the room. No exceptions.  these are a few of my favorite things College: Rowan University Book: The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone Movie: The Godfather App: LinkedIn Team: New York Giants Sport: Football Food: Dry Aged Porterhouse Dessert: Chocolate Ice Cream Restaurant: Peter Luger Steak House Hobby:

tion? I represented a developer in connection with the ac- quisition and financing of a 400,000 s/f office park in New Jersey. What impact has social media / networking had on your career? Your network is your net worth. The ability to develop and leverage industry rela- tionships is invaluable. While social media may help fa- cilitate networking, I believe

that the strongest and most meaningful relationships are still built face-to-face. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in,

about your current posi- tion and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? Before I was an attorney, I was a commercial mortgage
