Working my way up to Execu- tive VP for the first company I worked for out of college and never switching to another company/industry. What is your most notable project, deal or transac- tion? Pilot Truck Stop lease on Doremus Ave in Newark NJ. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? Sales and leasing occupy the majority of my schedule but mentoring and guiding new promising real estate professionals that join our organization has proven even more rewarding. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? My team has been the strongest influence to me, our constant desire to better ourselves and serve our clients has forced me to never become complacent . What impact has social media / networking had on your career? Social media has added a new dynamic to our industry that at times can deter us from focusing on the face to face interactions. When used properly social media is an excellent tool, but must only be one tool in your toolbox. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/ profession you are in today? I began in my career in 2003 through the recommendation of a friend. I started as a sales as- sociate and continued to work long hours to build my book of business. I chose this field as I have a passion for everything related to the industry from finance to construction. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen to change them? Financial independence was my initial goal, however that has more recently changed to helping those around me who have the ability to achieve greatness in this industry with proper guidance. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most suc- cessful in your profession? Work ethic and integrity have always been the cornerstone to success in any industry, I’ve found that to be true in my career.
