f you coul d dine with anyone dead or alive who would you choose? I would be interested in din- ing with Jeff Bezos to learn more about his grand plan and his problem solving ap- proach. What is your greatest professional accomplish- ment? My greatest pro- fessional accomplishment would have to be the moment I resolved to follow the entre- preneurial path and focus on my circle of interests instead of the usual 9-5. What is your most notable project, deal or transac- tion? Landing 112 West Park – a 113,000 s/f class A office space listing in Mt. Laurel. It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall South Jersey marketplace. How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry? I’m passion- ate about automation and continuous process improve- ment. That coupled with my I
profession you are in to- day? I moved to commercial real estate professionally a few months ago because it awards me the opportunity to utilize my consultative skills to solve business problems and create value. Joining the team at Vantage Real Estate Services was an obvious choice because of the great team members, their core values, and vision and leadership. Between the great business opportunities and awesome team, Vantage RES and CRE allow me to uti- lize innovative technologies to solve problems better, and that makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen to change them? Early on inmy career, I was focused on getting acco- lades, receiving recognition, and determining success through salaries and titles. The more I lived that life, the more I realized the impor- tance of enjoying the journey and being true to oneself. What unique qualities

What challenges and or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to be- come as successful as you are today? One of the most important lessons I learned as part of my professional career is the importance of being open to feedback and being adaptable. I needed to overcome my own defensive habits and focus on influenc- ing rather than convincing. Essentially, I needed to get out of my own way. What was the most defin- ing moment for you? A defining moment for me and my career path was resolving to following the entrepreneur- ial path and focusing on my circle of interests. I realized that I must embrace who I continued on page 30D

interest in techie tools and innovative technology drives me to explore new methods and technologies to improve on our strategic approach to delivering customer results. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? Dale Carnegie and his books have been a monumental influence on my life – both professional and personal. “How to Win Friends and Influence Peo- ple” and “How to Stop Wor- rying and Start Living” have opened my eyes to a whole world of continuous growth and improvement from the books and people around me. What impact has social media/networking had on your career? Social media,
networking, and the cloud hit a tipping point in 2007 at the same time I entered college. Sometimes it’s easy to take it all for granted since it’s been prevalent for most of my career; networking and increased flow of communica- tion have been pivotal to my ability to collaborate with colleagues, partners, and cli- ents all over the world. Most importantly, I had to quickly learn how to communicate and collaborate with people in different countries all over the world with different cultures and working styles.
