Two fellow JLL colleagues and I were appointed as ex- clusive leasing agents on a 1.6 million s/f agency in Newark, NJ in December of 2018. A joint venture acquired 1, 2, and 4 Gateway Center with plans for a multimillion dollar modernization to the complex’s concourse and streetscape. The deal is considered to be New Jersey’s largest office transaction of 2018. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your

your path, but when they do, it’s important to absorb as much knowledge as you can from them. What unique qualities and/or personality trait do you feel makes youmost suc- cessful in your profession? In four short years, I have learned how to adapt to differ- ent people and new situations. There are many different per- sonalities in the commercial real estate world, some people are easier than others. Learn- ing how to understand each person in order to effectively communicate and collaborate with the various groups of people you encounter, is criti- cal to survival in the industry. What challenges and/or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to be- come as successful as you are today? It’s been tough learning to trust myself and my instincts. This is something I’ve always struggled with throughout both my career and personal life. You always want to be bet- ter than you are and every day is a work in progress. I always try to be self-aware, trust the process, and know every day I’m one step closer. What outside activities do you enjoy during you free time? I’m a big Orange Theory Fitness enthusiast, die-hard Yankee fan, and huge lover of dogs, specifically rescues. I’m actively pursuing becoming more involved in volunteering and fundraising for dog rescue organizations within the New York City area. My fiancé and I happen to have two rescues of our own! What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduat- ing from college? Go big or go home. Seriously, there is never a dream too big or a goal too far out of reach. My parents raised me with the mentality that you can have anything in this world that you desire, but you need to get up and get it yourself without relying on anyone else. 
