New location to house sales, realty, architecture, design division New Walters homes office building under construction in Ship Bottom

HIP BOTTOM, NJ — Walters Homes , an award-winning custom design/build firm, is construct- ing a new office building to bring four of its divisions un- der one roof. The office facility will be located near the en- trance and exit point to Long Beach Island at 701 Central Ave. in Ship Bottom. The two-story 5,790 s/f build- ingwill house aWaltersHomes sales office, Walters Realty, Walters Architecture LLC and design center. The build- ing is expected to be completed in the summer 2019. The new building is de-

signed to meet the US Green Building Council's (US- GBC) standards, known as LEED. Walters Homes will occupy 4,730 s/f of space while 1,060 s/f will be leased to an undisclosed restaurant. Another Walters Homes office site on the corner of Route 35 and 3rd Ave. in Ort- ley Beach is currently in the design phase and is expected to get under way by year- end. Walters Architecture is designing both new office buildings.  Becker Morgan Group announces new hires DOVER, DE — Becker Morgan Group welcomes two new staff members to support increased project de- mands and add to a growing staff of 90. “These new team members bring valuable skills and experience to our team and we are excited for their contributions to the firm,” said Gregory Moore, P.E. , vice president of Becker Mor- gan Group. Harlan Elliott Jr. joins the Becker Morgan teamwith 17 years of experience as a structural designer. Harlan holds an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Archi- tectural Engineering from Delaware Technical Com- munity College in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Se- curity from the University of Maryland University Col- lege. In Harlan’s first few months he has been involved in several projects including the Asbury United Methodist Church Steeple Repairs, the Delmarva Health Pavilion and the Hearn Building Res- toration in Cambridge, MD. James (Jim) King Jr. joins Becker Morgan Group in the Dover office as a sur- vey technician. King is a retired veteran of the PA Army National Guard and the Delaware Air National Guard where he was a combat engineer and transportation specialist before becoming a C-130 pilot. He recently com- pleted his Associates Degree in Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology from Delaware Technical Commu- nity College. King brings a unique perspective to the firm with background in both the private and public sectors. 
