Building lease renewed by flooring company Nathin of Sheldon Gross Realty manages deal on 41,458 s/f Fairfield location

AIRFIELD, NJ — A lease on 41,458 s/f of space at 140 Clinton Rd. in Fairfield has been re- newed by All- state Flooring Distributors, in a transac- tion managed by Sheldon Gross Real- ty senior vice president Robert Nathin . The location, which Allstate Flooring Distributors utilizes as a showroom for customers, designers, and contractors is Robert Nathin F

located at the interchange of Rte. 46, and within short driv- ing distance of Rte. 80 and Rte. 23. In addition, other nearby commercial properties help generate a consistent volume of traffic that ensures the prop- erty’s value. “This is a particularly ver- satile building, and at 77,983 square feet, it’s able to meet the needs of a broad range of ten- ants,” said Nathin. “It’s difficult to imagine a better space for a flooring product showroom, which naturally led to this leas- ing being renewed.” Earlier this year, Nathin

managed a transaction that saw Allstate Flooring Distribu- tors renew its lease – with a footprint expansion to 12,678 s/f at 111 Lehigh Dr. in Fair- field. The company offers a wide variety of hardwood floor- ing styles, including both do- mestic and exotic hardwoods.  food & real estate PEAPACK-GLADSTONE, NJ — The intersection of food and real estate brought 50 developers, investors, food en- trepreneurs and advocates, and other real estate professionals together in May for a ULI NNJ event at the historic 90 Acres Farm in Peapack-Gladstone. “Cultivating Development: Sowing the Seeds for Innova- tion” featured an examination of trends and related best practices tied to the newest technologies and incentives being employed by the public and private sectors to maximize food production while serving rural and urban communities alike. “The local food movement, a deep commitment to preserv- ing agriculture in New Jersey and innovations that enhance growing make this an exciting time for farming in the Gar- den State,” noted ULI NNJ District Chairperson Brian Whitmer , an executive director and member of Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford, investment sales team. “Many additional factors – including a growing emphasis on place- making and the expansion of vertical farming – means that real estate is reaping the ben- efits as well.” Event participants enjoyed a behind-the-scenes walking tour of 90 Acres’ 12-acre sustainable farm and a chef’s table three- course dinner in the farm’s world-class restaurant.  Fresca Gourmet signs 5,000 s/f JERSEY CITY, NJ — Fr- esca Gourmet has signed a lease to occupy 5,000 s/f of ground floor retail space at 300 Coles St. The brainchild of developer Manhattan Building Compa- ny , SoHoWest is a neighborhood of oversized residences in mixed- use buildings on the border of Jersey City and Hoboken.  ULI NNJ event examines the intersection of
