ing built under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) ap- proach, which brings together the client, designer and the builder to align stakeholders and streamline the execution of the project. The newmedical center will be Skanska USA’s largest IPD project to date in North America. The project will bring 400 local full-time jobs to the construction site. The five-story, 467,000 s/f hospital building constructed by Skanska USA has 204 beds. The main tower consists of op- erating rooms, an emergency department, imaging suites, as well as administrative, din- ing and support services. The project also includes a new central utility plant, which will provide electrical power, heating/hot water and chilled water to the new hospital. “Skanska, along with our design partners - Array Ar- chitects and Leach Wal- lace Associates – and our subcontractor trade partners, are committed to providing innovative construction and delivery methods that will help Inspira meet the growing healthcare needs of local resi- dents,” said Todd Lofgren , Skanska senior vice president and account manager. “With over 50 percent of the con- struction subcontracts going to South Jersey firms, we’ve aligned directly with Inspira’s market area to construct state of the art facilities that enable our clients to deliver superior service to its patients.” Inspira purchased 100 acres of the current site fromRowan University in 2016, with the vision of creating a modern medical center in the heart of Gloucester County that offers residents convenient access to a higher level of quality health care. 
