Each month we come together to learn, share, and appreciate those members of the military who serve and protect our country every day. From active and retired veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan, we engage in discussions and topics that provide history and an opportunity to grow in understanding for those at the front lines of the six branches of the Armed Forces. Speakers and video documentaries may be included to stimulate discussion. Ages: 55 & up Class Date

DCSC FALL PROGRAM REGISTRATION Below are the activities and programs for the fall season that are exclusively for DCSC members. We encourage all DCSC members to register online to secure their registration. Registration is no longer month-to-month for DCSC programs, but now open and available following the DCRC registration dates set for all programs: • Tuesday, August 23* • 6 a.m. Online registration for Dublin (CR) and Dublin City School District residents (SDR) • Tuesday, August 30* • 6 a.m. Online registration for non-residents (NR) • Tuesday, September 6 • 10 a.m. Walk-in and phone registration opens for all patrons *Note these dates are ONLINE ONLY - registration is not available in person or by phone. DCSC Monthly Meetup Our monthly meet ups are always a blast so make sure to secure your spot early so you do not miss out! Each month includes a seasonal theme with lots of fun, entertainment and food. Quarterly throughout the year we provide one free meet up for our members, the remaining months include a nominal fee (excluding December, our end of year celebration). Doors to each meetup open five minutes before the scheduled start time. Specific meetup information provided in the DCSC newsletter each month.

History Lectures Van Young
History buffs have an opportunity to learn and explore the captivating topics presented each month by one of our favorite historians, Van Young. This fall, Van discusses history of OSU football, the Civil War and the continued popularity of the JFK Assassination.
