CDB BACKS THE UWI AS CARIBBEAN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION EPICENTRE

The UWI signalled its intent to become the Caribbean’s digital transformation epicentre during the launch ceremony for the UWI-CDB Digital Transformation Programme on February 6, 2023. The advancement of the University’s digital transformation is part of Phase II of the Triple A Strategic Plan: The Revenue Revolution. The programme, led by Professor of Digital Transformation, Policy, and Governance Lloyd Waller, will embrace the impact of the mobilisation of digital technologies on The UWI’s core business. The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is the official partner for the programme and anticipates it will lead to increased operational effectiveness, access to programmes, expansion of services, and continued competitiveness for The UWI.
