Express Yourself Through Collage Discover the creative art of collage without any rules or limitations. Learn new techniques (stenciling, rubbing, creating your own decorative paper) to explore color, texture, and shape. Different themes will be suggested each week. Trust the creative process in a warm, supportive atmosphere to express your unique point of view. See website for materials list. Collage Creation Learn techniques for creating expressive and eloquent collages about people and places with materials such as textured and patterned papers, color paper, fabrics, mixed materials, and photographs. A variety of colors and textures in papers and both wet and dry adhesives will be supplied but students may bring their own materials to tell dynamic and unique stories. Create a Personal Cookbook with Meaningful Menus Bring your favorite recipes, family food traditions, and the memorable histories behind them. Share stories of your favorite menus and special home-cooked celebrations with others. Connect your menu themes to literature, holidays, or milestone events in the brainstorming first half of the class. After breaking for a BYO lunch, apply your creative passions to crafting a handmade personal cookbook centered around the theme and recipes of your choice. Guidance and training on simple art techniques as well as all art materials for the cookbook keepsake will be supplied and included in tuition. TAMAR (TAMI) ARNOWITZ has a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has also studied at Hebrew University and the Conservative Yeshiva and is a certified life coach. She has taught special interest clubs and at synagogues,
