Body Sculpting For the major muscle groups, these free-weight exercises will increase muscular strength and endurance and will improve flexibility, range of motion, and body tone. Participants will learn to exercise safely and correctly. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome. Students should bring an exercise mat and weights of 1 to 5 pounds. Sit and Be Fit: Chair-Based Body Sculpting

Looking to build or regain muscle tone, balance and range of motion? This stimulating yet restorative class will help build strength and endurance and improve flexibility. Participants will learn to exercise safely and correctly. The chair-based class includes some standing exercises for those who are able, and is perfect for the active older adult who has difficulty with floor exercises. Students with mild and severe arthritis find the class invaluable. Participants will work on lower and upper body strength and conditioning, mostly while in a seated position. Students should bring weights of 1 to 5 pounds (optional) and water. Yoga straps or bands used to assist in stretching may be purchased online; instructor will provide details on request. Walk15® Experience Walk15®! This indoor fitness class is founded on 15-minute, big calorie burning miles using the best features of low impact aerobic style group exercise with easy-to-follow routines. Our walking-based moves are set to music so that all fitness levels, all ages, and all sizes can enjoy them. Feel successful the first time you try it! Note: This class includes a hand weight option (3 lb maximum). You will be able to participate in the class without incorporating weights if you prefer. Please wear comfortable clothing and a good pair of sneakers. Bring water, a small towel, and optional light hand weights. HEATHER BUYERS is a master instructor for Walk 15® program and is a personal trainer.
