Registration Information Register Online: Online registration is quick, safe and easy. You will receive instant confirmation of your transaction. To ensure your spot in a class, this is the preferred method of registration.
1. At the home page of our website, www.ScarsdaleAdultSchool.org, search “All Classes” on the left hand side of the page for various class options (type of class, day of week). If you know the class you want, search via the gray search box (upper right side of page). Enter the class name or 5 digit course # and then hit the “Go” button. 2. To register, click “Add to Cart” which is below the class information. You will be prompted to sign in if you have not already. If you are a new student, you will need to click on “Create Student Profile” to create your account before proceeding. 3. Select the number of students you are registering. You can register friends through your student profile. You will be prompted to enter the name of additional students. You are assumed to be the first student. 4. Read and accept the General Waiver. If you are registering someone else, please note you are accepting the waiver on their behalf. 5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 to register for additional classes. 6. To see the classes you have chosen click “View Cart.” If you are ready to pay, click “Check out.” Both links are on the top right of the webpage. 7. The Shopping Cart will have a summary of the classes you chose with Student Details, Class Details and Amount. Under the Amount column you will see the tuition cost and also a requirement to accept the refund policy. You must check the box for each class. The refund policy is on the previous page. 8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Checkout.” Finish the registration by filling in credit card information. We accept Visa, Mastercard or Discover. When you see the “Thank you” screen, you have completed your registration. This step is very important! 9. For online courses, SAS will send the Zoom link by email on the day before the class start date. Register by Phone: Call the registrar at (914) 723-2325, Monday through Friday, 9 am to Noon to register for classes. If you get our voicemail, please leave a message and we will do our best to return your call as soon as possible.
During peak times, we encourage you to register yourself either online or by check. General Waiver:
By registering for a Scarsdale Adult School course, I assume all risks associated with attending and participating in the class. I agree to hold harmless from any liability Scarsdale Adult School, its docents, instructors, teachers, volunteers, officers, directors, board members, trustees, employees, agents, or lessors. I acknowledge that the course may be inherently hazardous and that risks to myself include physical injury, including death, property damage, and loss. By completing this registration process, I further attest and verify that I am physically and medically fit to participate fully in the course. I also assume full responsibility for choosing the appropriate course level. Scarsdale Adult School reserves the right to photograph and/or record its courses and other events, or portions of them, and to
use such materials in communications, eblasts, social media, marketing, advertisements, on its website, and in other print and online media. By registering, I consent to such photography, audio recording, and/or video recording, and to Scarsdale Adult School's use of such materials. Scarsdale Adult School is not responsible for any advice or consultation given within or beyond the classroom setting and course curriculum material. Scarsdale Adult School reserves the right to cancel courses that are under enrolled, to change times and locations where necessary, and to substitute instructors.
