Endellion King, account director – incentives at Top Banana, has organised two four‐night incentive trips to Canada already this year focused on Toronto and Niagara Falls. He cites Canada’s reputation as a safe destination as a major factor in its popularity post‐pandemic with clients, as well as the relatively few restrictions around visiting venues and the fact it is only an eight‐hour flight away. “Canada has always had an appeal, especially Toronto paired with Niagara: if you throw in Vancouver, Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise… these are all exciting and sexy destinations,” he says. “At the same time, it is a nice easy location to work with – plus there is financial support available from the Canadian tourism authorities now which helps with the client’s budget.”
