ABOUT Fort King is a 40-acre National Historic Landmark owned jointly by the City of Ocala and Marion County. On-site is a replica of Fort King, one of a very few forts that have been reconstructed to actual size. The Visitor Center and Archaeology Resource Center are home to many displays and artifacts that continue to bring the rich history to life.
