relevant to the Northern Territory, where Aboriginal communities make up a signicant proportion of the population. Showcasing the NT’s exibility, the IFCO conference was originally set for June 2022 but was moved to later in the year to enable increased attendance, with travel restrictions lifting around the globe. Recognising the Northern Territory’s truly unique Aboriginal culture, the 2022 conference logo design was inspired by a young Aboriginal boy whose artwork was based upon stones gathered with his foster mum, plus painted words which represent all that is important in his life. “We’re looking forward to welcoming this conference in 2022, especially at a time when the role of foster carers around the world has never been more crucial,” says Rebecca McCaig, Director of NTBE. “is conference combines so many elements for which the Northern Territory is so very relevant and we hope every delegate will be personally and professionally enriched from their visit to the NT.”
