CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF THE DUBLIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Coffman Homestead will be open for tours of the restored 1860s house and barns. Hear the stories of Fletcher, Marinda, Ida, Willie and the rest of the Coffman family. Visit the barn and replica one-room schoolhouse.

The 1920s barn contains vintage implements spanning decades of farm life. Many items were used in the field, others in the barn and in and around the home. Guides will demonstrate many of the implements. The replica school room will have an interpretive guide for visitors to view. The Coffman Homestead is located in Coffman Park, adjacent to the City of Dublin’s Development Building, 5200 Emerald Parkway. Attendees do not need to pre-register. A donation of $5 per adult is recommended (cash and credit cards accepted). Coffman Homestead Open House Date Aug. 11 Take a walking tour through Historic Dublin and learn about the rich history surrounding this area of Downtown Dublin. All tours will begin and finish at the Dublin Visitor & Information Center, 9 S. High St. The fee is $10 per person and can be paid by cash, check or credit card the night of the tour. Register and pay in advance or on the Dublin Historical Society website.
