YOGA

Jr. Fitness Card Program Earn the privilege of using the fitness floor before age 16. Participants meet individually with a fitness staff member and learn fitness floor rules, safety and correct use of equipment. Upon successful completion, teen members ages 12-15 may use the fitness floor without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must successfully pass all areas of the program and be proficient in exercise technique, safety and fitness floor etiquette to receive their card. All Jr. Fitness Card orientations include our fitness staff familiarizing your teen on the Cybex equipment and Cardio equipment. Jr. Fitness class days/times are based on staff availability and subject to change. Registration is available 72 hours prior and ends 24 hours prior to scheduled class times. Online registration is available by visiting DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/. Registration is also available by phone or in-person at the DCRC. Upon successful completion, youth ages 10-12 may use the track without adult supervision. Participants must successfully pass all areas of the program and be proficient in track etiquette and safety procedures to be able to use the track. Jr. Track class days/times are based on staff availability and subject to change. Registration is available 72 hours prior and ends 24 hours prior to scheduled class times. Vinyasa Flow Yoga Claudia Hamman, eRYT200 Certified Yoga Instructor Take a mid-day break

to breathe, move, and concentrate on your mind- body connection. Vinyasa yoga

training emphasizes intentional movement synced with breath to improve energy and focus. Claudia guides you through a series of accessible poses designed to

improve agility, flexibility and strength. Expect a thoughtfully designed, slow flow practice. Class opens with meditation and warm up, then progressively builds heat through a series of standing and balancing poses linked with transitional movements, followed by seated stretches and final relaxation. Blankets, straps and blocks provided. Some yoga experience helpful. Please bring your own yoga mat. Hatha yoga is practiced at a slow pace to encourage strength and flexibility, while allowing time to focus on breath and awareness. Each practice begins and ends with calming meditation. A mindful warm up awakens muscles and encourages mobility. Claudia guides you through a series of intentional standing poses chosen to improve balance and core strength. Seated stretches will help release tension while improving range of motion. Options to modify and advanced poses are offered in this mixed level class. Blankets, straps and blocks are provided. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.
