PREPAYMENT POLICY Payment is due upon registration. You must use a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or AMEX when registering online. If you prefer to use cash or check, payment is required in person at the DCRC at the time of registration. MAKEUP POLICY No makeup classes are offered for lessons missed by participants. Lessons canceled due to weather or mechanical issues are made up at a later date at the same time. If the pool schedule does not permit, a refund will be issued. All participants receive a call to the phone number provided during registration and are notified of the make-up date. No individual accommodations are made if participants are unable to attend the make-up class provided. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY Please check the dates of the swim lesson session closely as refunds will not be issued once the session is in progress. Exceptions may be given for medical reasons with a physician’s note or approval from the Aquatics Supervisor. Full refunds are granted, minus a $15 administrative fee, if requests are made prior to the start of the first class date. SWIM ASSESSMENTS/TRANSFERRING LEVEL Uncertain of the correct level to enroll you or your child? Try our online assessment tool at DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/aquatics/ lessons/ or schedule an in water assessment with our Aquatics Program Coordinator Sidney Conn at 614.410.4597 or at sconn@dublin.oh.us. Upon the first class, instructors will confirm participants are in the proper level. Should the participant need to transfer to another level, availability within the current session is not guaranteed and a partial refund will be issued if other sections are unavailable.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY During inclement weather, the DCRC facilities maintain normal operating hours unless directed otherwise by the City Manager. In general, DCRC class/activity schedules coincide with Dublin City Schools. Whenever schools are released early for inclement weather, all evening classes at the DCRC are canceled. When school is canceled, all daytime DCRC classes are canceled, and a decision regarding evening classes (those after 4 p.m.) will be made by 2 p.m. Please call the Weather Hotline at 614.410.4946, to find out about weekend or evening classes. All attempts will be made to make up missed classes. LOW ENROLLMENT We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. All efforts are made to enroll the student into another class within the same session. However, if no availability exists, a full refund is issued. OBSERVING LESSONS If you find your child continually trying to interact with you during their class, we encourage you to move out of the immediate area so that their attention remains focused on their instructor. Family members may observe swim lessons from the observation deck located off the track. ADAPTIVE SWIM LESSONS Adaptive Aquatics classes are geared for children with special needs between 3-14 years of age. This program is designed to give individuals an opportunity to experience the benefits of aquatics and prepare for the possibility of progressing into our American Red Cross swim lesson program. With the assistance of aquatics staff, participants will work on their swimming abilities and comfort level in the water. These classes are taught in a non-competitive environment, allowing each child to progress at their own pace. All participants must be accompanied in the water by a parent or caregiver. For more information or to register, please contact Sidney Conn at 614.410.4597 or at sconn@dublin.oh.us. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Complete descriptions are available at DublinOhioUSA.gov/recreation-services/aquatics/lessons/

WAITLIST All efforts are made to enroll students off the waitlist if availability exists, communication from the Aquatics Programming Coordinator will occur during the first week of the session. No proration will be provided after the start of the class.
