BE PREPARED THIS SNOW SEASON

How you can help: • Do not shovel or plow snow into City streets. • Do not shovel or plow snow into driveway aprons. • Do not shovel or plow snow around fire hydrants or mailboxes.

The City has a curb to curb snow removal policy. All public streets within Dublin receive snow removal service according to the following priorities: Priority 1 Major arteries are plowed first. These streets will continue to receive treatment as long as weather conditions continue. Blowing snow and freezing roads once snow has thawed can require continued

• Keep distance from the snow plows. • Keep children away from snow plows. • Remove parked cars from the street. • Do not attempt to pass a snow plow.

treatment. Priority 2

Main roads through subdivisions, streets connecting two or more priority 1 streets. These streets will be plowed and salted once priority 1 streets have received treatment. Priority 3 Residential streets, courts, cul-de-sacs and alleys will be serviced once priority 1 and priority 2 streets are cleared. Not treated by City of Dublin Private residential and commercial streets as well as streets in other jurisdictions.

Follow the snow removal process with SnowGo – the City of Dublin’s snow and ice removal status monitor. SnowGo uses GPS tracking to show which streets have been plowed or salted and how long it has been since they’ve been treated. Visit DublinOhioUSA.gov/snowgo to access the tool.

What about sidewalks? Residents are required to keep their sidewalks, curbs and gutters free of snow, ice, debris and obstructions. Depositing snow or ice on any public sidewalk, street, bike path, road or highway is not allowed.

DUBLIN COMPOST

Did you know the City of Dublin has a composting program? Any resident can participate by collecting food and yard scraps at home and dumping your bucket at our free 24/7 drop-off location in the City of Dublin Service Center parking lot at 6555 Shier Rings Road. It is highly recommended that composters use 6-gallon BPI Certified Compostable Bucket Liners, which can be purchased at numerous locations, including Amazon, Whole Foods and Kroger. The liners can be emptied directly into the carts. Composting has many benefits, including enriching soil. It also helps reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. Learn more and register for the program at DublinOhioUSA.gov/compost.
