2022 is quickly coming to a close and we are looking forward to what is to come in 2023. MAC Trailer Enterprises continues to grow and expand its trailer offerings to meet customer needs. As announced earlier this year, we have purchased the company formally known as Bullet™ Trailer and now offer the MAC Bullet™ bottom dump as part of our extensive dump trailer lineup. The Bullet™ bottom dump has been a respected brand in the market for over 50 years and MAC Trailer will continue to build on that legacy. We are excited to have brought on multiple dealers this past year, spreading our MAC Trailer brand throughout the nation. REAR AXLE SLIDER
Throughout the last year, the rear axle slider that is available on all platform trailers has received significant updates. With a weight savings of 105 pounds, this air-operated function allows the user to adjust the axle position to best suit the load. The axle positions can be adjusted from a 10-foot, 2-inch spread to a closed tandem.
A galvanized steel slider box was put in place so that the axle pins can be moved within the frame of the trailer effortlessly. This greaseless option is optimal for customers looking to carry a variety of loads with specific hauling requirements.
1000 CUBE IMPROVEMENTS Since its introduction in 2020, the MAC Trailer 1000-cube pneumatic tank trailer has received significant upgrades. The overall height of this trailer has been reduced by 6 inches to accommodate pre-existing agricultural structures while maintaining its 1000-cube capacity. With an improved weight distribution, trucks varying from 17,000 – 21,000 lbs can now be used to haul the 1000-cube trailer. This improvement grants a wider range of versatility in what truck types can be used. A bolt-on adjustable coupler (16-32 in.) is included to adjust the king pin for appropriate weight distribution.
An optional galvanized sliding 5th wheel plate can also be added to further accommodate specific trucks and their hauling requirements. A ball valve is used to adjust the 5th wheel plate to the appropriate position needed.
AR SPRING RIDE SUSPENSION
MAC Trailer has recently redesigned the galvanized spring ride suspension to improve performance over the previous cast design. The galvanized front and rear spring hangers now have bolt-on, replaceable, AR450 steel wear plates for ease of maintenance. To help prevent loose bolts, this new design also includes a galvanized single bolt equalizer with wear plates.
This strengthened design will reduce maintenance and extend the overall life of the suspension. A 5-year unlimited warranty is also included in this spring ride suspension.
SPRING HANGER AND TAILGATE SEAL The MAC Trailer transfers have had several updates, including the new spring hangers with bolt-on Hardox wear pads and the newly designed gate seal. The addition of the Hardox wear pads extends the life of the hanger itself and provides a lower cost of ownership. The improved hanger is constructed from galvanized steel, and the wear plate is powder coated, allowing these pads to now be fully serviceable and replaceable.

Also, the addition of the hollow-core rubber seal to all tailgates makes for a more crushable and tight seal. This redesigned seal is now ribbed so ensure that it can maintain its place in the track.

The manual will open through FlippingBook, a secure software program that allows our dealers to view the training information. The MAC Bullet™, the newest member of the MAC Trailer series of dump trailers, has evolved over the last 40+ years. Today the MAC Bullet is simply the finest aluminum bottom dump trailer, whether you haul coal, sugar, beets, or lightweight aggregate. In February 2022, MAC Trailer acquired Bullet™ Trailer and introduced this bottom dump into the product line. Originally manufactured in the 1970s for coal mining, the MAC Bullet trailer design now serves many industries including aggregates, coal, limestone, fertilizer, and others. The MAC Bullet is manufactured in Sunnyside, WA, and is starting to come off the line in Haslet, Texas.
DEALER UPDATES
The www.beallmfg.com site has had some updates! You can now find the product manuals under "products" or by scanning the QR code that will soon be found on each trailer. These manuals open in a sleek flipping book and can be downloaded, printed, and shared.
The QR code will pull up a directory to view product manuals, the website, and social media.
Also recently added is Beall apparel. The options and how to order can be found on the website under Beall Gear! Contact your sales rep or stop in the Portland plant to purchase your gear!!
