LEGO Robotics Invention LAB and 3D Printing Camp

NEW

Robot Academy Bring your ideas to life through ‘rapid prototyping’, a technique that involves quickly building prototypes of invention ideas using cardboard, LEGOs or 3D

printers. Kids design and build custom inventions with the help of their instructor and then present their prototypes to a Shark Tank panel, just like on the TV show. Kids enjoy presenting killer pitches to the judges with the help of their new friends and reaping the rewards (we give the students a lot of tips and talk them through their pitches in advance to make sure they are successful). Our instructors have won international invention competitions, so your kids learn from the best. Students complete robot challenges to earn points to reward their achievements. Award ceremonies are a fun celebration of our students’ talents. LEGO Robot Building & Coding Engineering Camp Robot Academy

The Robot Academy camp focuses on building and programming robots. Students love our famous Arduino LEGO Robot BattleBot championship, where student-made robots “battle to the death.” With the help of world champion robotics instructors, students learn to program BattleBots in Scratch programming language using sensors and logic. The BattleBot rounds run until all campers have a chance to win. The robot is available for purchase so that the student can keep the robot they built. Students also complete robot challenges, earning points to win trophies to reward their achievements. Award ceremonies are a fun celebration of our students’ talents. Instructors provide individual help to make sure all students win trophies and are happy campers. Optional purchase of Robot Academy’s Arduino LEGO Robot to take home at the end of the camp for $125 at https://www.robot- academy.com/product/arduinolegorobot.
