First Responder Teen Academy NEW Dublin Police Department & WTFD This hands-on immersive learning program gives high school students a chance to explore the exciting career options available in Emergency Responding Services. Students learn about and participate in a variety of interactive sessions related to: performing rescue searches, fighting fires, providing emergency medical care, collecting crime scene evidence, touring various city facilities, using specialized tools and equipment, and even suiting up in full firefighter turnout gear. Participants should have a real interest to explore learning about what it takes to become a first responder. Lunch and snacks provided. *Dublin & school district residents only. TEEN

The Teen Lounge The Teen Lounge is a place for teens, ages 13-18, to hang out and enjoy amenities such as a big-screen TV, juke box, stereo, table tennis, Playstation 4 and board games. Participants do not need to be DCRC members. Teens must sign in when entering the lounge. Spring/Summer Hours Tues, Thurs, Fri: 4:30-9 p.m. Sat-Sun: 2-8 p.m. *Hours subject to change based on staffing. Please call 614.410.4550 to verify hours. Volunteer Opportunities The City of Dublin has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for teens throughout our community. Esports Tournament Recreation Services Staff & Game Arena

The DCRC and Game Arena invite you to join us for our 2nd annual Super Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament. Featuring a singles and doubles tournament bracket and the latest rendition in the classic Nintendo franchise, competitors come from all over to play. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. at the DCRC. Registration includes the venue fee of $10, but an additional $10 gaming fee is due the day of the event.

Special Accommodation Request Recreation Services promotes an inclusive policy for all of our programs. To discuss program options to best suit your child’s needs or interests, please contact Meaghan Campbell, Adaptive Recreation Coordinator, at 614.410.4574 for an inquiry of needs to form an accommodation plan. An accommodation plan could carry over IEP/504 accommodations and must be completed prior to the start of the program.
