What Can I Drop Off at Drug Take Back Events? · At this time, the service accepts pills, gel caps and dry medications. · The service does not accept liquids, sharp needles, syringes, inhalers, epinephrine autoinjectors, lancets or aerosol containers. · It is preferred that medications be sealed in a zip-close bag when dropped off at events.

Events are bimonthly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dublin Justice Center , 6565 Commerce Pkwy., unless otherwise noted. These are drive-thru events and don’t require you to leave your vehicle.

MEDICATION DROP BOX

Safely dispose of prescription drugs any time of the day or year. Drop off medications 24/7 in a sealed, zip-close bag. The drop box is located inside the Dublin Justice Center lobby, 6565 Commerce Parkway, near the Police Records reception window. TRY SELF-DEFENSE WITH THE DUBLIN POLICE

6 to 9 p.m. May 9 Dublin Justice Center The Dublin Police Department offers a self-defense class for anyone ages 16 and older. This three-hour course includes both classroom- style presentations and hands-on exercises to practice basic self- defense techniques. All participants receive a personal alarm device at the end of the program. Participants younger than 18 are required to provide written permission from a parent or guardian. Back to School Self-Defense with the Dublin Police 6 to 9 p.m. July 26 Dublin Justice Center Going to college for the first time? Returning to your university in the fall? Try a self-defense course with the Dublin Police Department for some hands-on exercises to practice basic self-defense techniques.
