YOGA

Jr. Fitness Card Program Earn the privilege of using the fitness floor before age 16. Participants meet individually with a fitness staff member and learn fitness floor rules, safety and correct use of equipment. Upon successful completion, teen members ages 12-15 may use the fitness floor without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must successfully pass all areas of the program and be proficient in exercise technique, safety and fitness floor etiquette to receive their card. Jr. Fitness Card program appointments are dependent on staff availability, must be scheduled in advance and are available in person at the DCRC. Contact the Fitness Check-In Desk at 614.410.4550 to schedule. All Jr. Fitness Card Orientations include our fitness staff orienting your teen on the Cybex Equipment and Cardio Equipment. Participants must successfully pass all areas of the program and be proficient in track etiquette and safety procedures to be able to use the track. Jr. Track program appointments are dependent on staff availability, must be scheduled in advance and are available in person at the DCRC. Vinyasa Flow Yoga Claudia Hamman, eRYT200 Certified Yoga Instructor

Get ready to breathe, strengthen and find balance in this full body practice. Vinyasa Flow Yoga training emphasizes dynamic movement linked with breath to improve energy and focus. Claudia will guide you through a moving meditation that creates

agility, flexibility and freedom in the body and mind. Expect a creative and thoughtfully designed practice, opening with meditation and warm up, building heat through a variety of standing and balancing poses, then transitioning into seated stretches before surrendering into final relaxation. Blankets, straps, and blocks provided. Some yoga experience helpful. Please bring your own yoga mat. A mindful warm up awakens muscles. Claudia guides you to intentionally develop static standing and balancing poses chosen to improve

strength, balance, and flexibility. Seated stretches release physical and mental tension while improving range of motion. Your confidence, focus, and stamina will build to improve your quality of life. Options to advance or modify poses are offered in this mixed level class. Blankets, straps, and blocks provided.
