Auditions - James and the Giant Peach JR. Krista Pojman Participate in one of the six audition options for the Abbey Theater’s summer production of James and the Giant Peach JR. Participants learn a song from the show, read/perform excerpts from the script and learn a dance routine. Casting offers sent no later than March 15. Performers must be available to rehearse Monday-Thursday from 6-8:30 p.m., June 10-July 18. Performers must be available for all performances July 18–21.

Learn audition tips and tricks to prepare you to audition for our summer 2024 pre-professional productions (Otterbein Playwrights Collective, American Idiot and Alice by Heart). Participants receive coaching to prepare them to sing songs from the show, tips and tricks for staging for the songs, monologue coaching and behind the scenes info about the audition process. Actual auditions held March 2 and March 3 from 1-5:30 p.m. Register for activity #193710 to audition. Participants attend one of six audition times to participate in The Abbey Theater’s summer productions (Otterbein Playwrights Collective, American Idiot and Alice by Heart). Participants have three minutes to audition and present two songs from each production and a contemporary monologue. Pre-professionals who only want to be considered for the Otterbein Playwrights Collective do not need to sing.
