General Information
About the School The purpose of the Scarsdale Adult School is to offer an enrichment curriculum for accessible, lifelong learning to include educational lectures and courses, cultural events, and related activities of general interest to the public. SAS does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, disability, ethnic origin or sexual identity in the administration of its educational policies. All adults, regardless of residency, are welcome. Established in 1938, the School is an independant, not-for-profit organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. The Scarsdale Adult School is supported solely by course fees and tax deductible contributions. ● Courses are scheduled to start throughout the term. ● All online classes will be held online via Zoom. ● Individual classes have scheduled days off; please refer to specific listings. ● Many courses have limited enrollment and fill up immediately on a first-come/first-served basis.

Zoom Information for Online Classes A Zoom link will be sent, by email, one day prior to the class start date. Please be sure we have your correct email address . Please register at least one full day prior to the class start. Late registrations run the risk of not receiving the Zoom link. Classes that have more than one session will use the same Zoom link for the entire run of the class. Please keep the Zoom link available for the entire class. We will not be sending the Zoom link each week. Classes are not recorded unless noted in the course description.

Refunds & Credits
● If your class is cancelled, we will refund your tuition. ● If you need to cancel, you must request a refund at least 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. A $15 processing fee will be deducted from any such refund. ● If you cancel and the class has a waiting list, no refunds will be issued regardless of the timing of request. ● Transferring to another class is considered a cancellation and will incur a $15 fee. ● No discounts will be given for missed classes. ● No partial refunds or credits will be given for any reason. ● Students assume full responsibility for choosing the appropriate course level.
