SCHOOL OF BALLET ALUMNA TAYLOR NATURKAS RECEIVES PROMOTION TO PRINCIPAL SOLOIST WITH MIAMI CITY BALLET! Taylor Naturkas grew up dancing with the Crooked Tree Arts Center School of Ballet starting at the age of four, under the direction of Heather Raue. In the fall of 2018, she began studying at Miami City Ballet School year-round at the age of 15. Taylor has quickly moved up the ranks of the company, receiving her Corps De Ballet contract in 2020, and was promoted to Soloist two years later in 2022. Taylor received her promotion to Principal Soloist following her debut performance as Firebird with the company on February 10, 2024. Taylor is the youngest Principal Soloist with the company, and also one of Miami City Ballet’s youngest company dancers.
