M id-September saw the latest BIFA regional Chris Curtin, regional representative in Scotland. BIFA director general Steve Parker reports that the membership north of the border is engaging and supportive. Meetings were held at the Trades Hall in Glasgow and the Maritime Museum in Aberdeen. Attendees heard updates relating to all of the member meetings held by

issues of the day, on topics from Customs, to EES and the development planned at Heathrow Airport. There was the opportunity for two-way discussion and Chris and Steve received some great feedback. As well as the BIFA updates, guest speaker Zach Turner from Customs and international trade consultancy Brightfinch spoke to Members at both meetings about the care needed when using
