The Wind in the Willows tells the story of the friendship of the good- hearted Water Rat, the shy and curious Mole, and the sensible Badger. What tests that friendship? The antics of Mr. Toad, a wily and impulsive animal given to sudden crazes such as stealing motor cars and driving them recklessly around the countryside. Watch the friends save Toad from himself and then rescue the magnificent Toad Hall from the devious weasels, ferrets and stoats! Bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Registration is contingent upon auditioning for this initiative. Performers must be available to rehearse Monday-Thursday from 4-6 p.m. June 21 – July 15. Performances take place July 15-17. Based loosely on Puccini’s La Boheme, the show follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side. Watch these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves and conflicts in this groundbreaking musical. Performers must be available Monday-Friday from 6-9 p.m. July 18 – Aug. 11.
