Meet some of our backyard wildlife in person! Live wild animal visitors including birds, mammals and reptiles, are featured each month. Learn about some of their amazing adaptations as well as ways we can help wildlife in our own backyards, prevent conflicts and peacefully co-exist. Registration fee is per child participant. Parent participation is required. Family Yoga The Balanced Child Method
Grab the family and start your Saturday with family yoga! This class is tailored to kids 3 to 8 years old, but everyone is welcome. This is a great time for the whole family to learn yoga, breathing and meditation to do at home. Bring your yoga mats, water and wear comfortable clothes. Put your puzzle solving skills to the test with our word scramble in Coffman Park. Visit Coffman Park to find our 4th of July signs; look carefully at the jumbled words and try unscrambling as many of the anagrams as you can into real words related to Independence Day. 15 word scrambles are placed throughout the park – be sure to look high and low and everywhere in between! Write down your answers and submit for your chance to win a special summer surprise. Only one $5 entry per household. Must register to receive a prize. Winners will be announced July 22. Registered participants receive a digital children’s activity packet at the start date of the program. Storybook Forest Jennifer Green
Visit a land of imagination in our Storybook Forest! Our Storybook Forest is a great way to enjoy the wonders of nature and a bedtime story all at once. Each session participants will visit a new secret area of Coffman Park and enjoy a story time with friends. Parent participation is not required, but due to the age of participants, parents/ guardians must stay present outside the classroom for bathroom breaks or behavioral interventions.
