INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this handbook is to provide students and families with information and advice to enable them to choose a sequence of studies that suit their interests, abilities and future aspirations.
The handbook explains:
• The programs offered at The Lakes South Morang College
• A description of all of the studies offered in the Secondary years
The requirements of each program

As part of the subject selection process students and families will be required to:
• Attend an information session and read important information provided in this handbook
• Investigate what subjects students might need to select depending on their future career pathway
Attend a selection interview with a parent/carer

STUDENT SUPPORT
Key Personnel with specific responsibilities –
• Year Level Leader: assistance with general information in Years 7 - 12 and enrolments
• Learning Area Leaders: assistance with specific subject information.
• Student Wellbeing & Disability Inclusion Leader: assistance with areas that affect student wellbeing and disability inclusion, provision of information on outside agencies offering assistance, both personal and financial. Careers Advisor: careers direction and information
• Careers & Pathways Leader: careers and pathways direction and information
