HOCKEY n 2023 was a tremendous hockey season in the Junior School with 45 pupils attending our hockey club, many of whom also attended our Friday lunchtime club or U13 squad training sessions. A highlight was hosting the U11s London Schools tournament and taking the two U10 teams to compete in the same tournament at Colfe’s School. The ‘A’ team for the U10 ‘A’ team came away victorious and the U11 ‘A’ team came in second place. The Under
11s also went away to compete in the Royal Russell tournament where they put in a superb performance. For the first time ever, we hosted Year 4 games with JAGS and Year 5 went away to them for a fixture. For both events, we created mixed teams and there was great collaboration between the two schools. Year 3 were fortunate to join JAGS for a hockey festival where they participated in various games and drills, led by the Year 6 pupils.
