Columbus Saber Academy offers instructor-led training to develop the ability, endurance, confidence, and sportsmanship through foundational and advanced martial techniques, focusing on structure, mechanics, tempo, measure and movement. C.S.A.’s mission is to provide an open, welcoming, and inclusive environment that empowers personal growth and development and encourages community interaction through swordsmanship. Bring a nut-free lunch and prepare for a day of sword fighting! A 2024 online healthcare form and activity waiver from Columbus Saber Academy are required to participate; Parents/guardians are emailed information closer to the date of the program. All Preschool, Youth & Teen program registrations close seven days prior to the start of the first class. The 7-day closure window allows our team time to complete program logistics and communicate details with our participant families. Late registration requests are not guaranteed. Late registrations must pay the full program fee – no pro-rated rates are available. Program Refund Policy: A cancellation request form must be submitted to the Welcome Desk of the DCRC at least seven business days before the first day of class for a refund of fees paid minus a $15 administrative fee. No refunds or transfers are processed after this time. Participants assume risk and responsibility for changes in personal schedules or health. A full refund is issued if the Division of Recreation Services cancels an activity or rental. Special Accommodations Requests: Recreation Services promotes an inclusive policy for all of our programs. To discuss program options to suit your child’s needs or best interests, please contact Meaghan Campbell, Adaptive Recreation Coordinator, at for an inquiry of needs to form an accommodation plan. An accommodation plan must be completed before the start of the program.
