Celebrate Earth Day with a nature exploration hike. Discover your natural surroundings utilizing your senses for a peaceful, reflective outdoor experience. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable hiking shoes as you set out for a two to three-mile excursion through Wedgewood Hills Park.

This presentation focuses on the importance of inviting nature into our yards. Discussion includes how to create a diverse, sustainable and functioning landscape as you develop how to garden as part of nature. Discussion includes how to assess the water quality by looking at the environment around the stream and at the insect larvae living in the water.
