Performing Arts Ring Your Bell for Beginners
New to ringing handbells? New or in need of a fresh start reading music? This class is for you! Come ring a handbell or two in this highly kinesthetic and fun class in which participants learn to play in an ensemble while developing music reading skills. All music and materials provided. DONNA ELAINE serves as principal flute in the New Choral Society Orchestra, plays with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, the Yonkers Philharmonic, and the Yonkers Pops Band, and teaches throughout the New York area. 10 Sessions, starting Friday, September 20 (no class 10/4, 11/29) • 9:45am-10:30am • Hoff-Barthelson Music School • Course 12830 • $275
Ring Your Bell I Enjoy playing in a music ensemble with other adults who love music! Come ring a handbell or two in this highly kinesthetic and fun musical class. Basic music reading and some handbell playing experience necessary. This ensemble participates in the School’s festivals and recitals. Parts are registrar@scarsdaleadultschool.org to arrange to speak with the instructor to determine appropriate class placement.
