Understand (1) how to prepare for the renovation, (2) what to expect in the design and construction process, and (3) which type of professionals are the right ones to call first. The investment in your home is significant and the number of different choices can be daunting. This course will answer your questions and help reduce the anxiety home owners often feel when venturing into major construction projects. Recognize the differences between the types of agents (real estate brokers, associate brokers, salespersons, and realtors), along with the numerous acronyms for their designations (ABR, CBR, SRS, SRES, CRI, CRB). Find out what a multiple listing is and make sense of Zillow, Realtor.com, and other online sources. Learn to decipher agency disclosure and representation forms concerning exclusive, non-exclusive, and dual agents as well as property condition and home inspection reports.
