Beginner Canasta Canasta is back and enjoying renewed interest with people of all ages. Learn the rules, strategies, and scoring with hands-on play of this intriguing and challenging game. Attendance at the first class is required. As a courtesy to your fellow students, please plan to attend every class. $15-$20 materials fee payable to the instructors at the first class. Canasta: Supervised Play For players ready to move beyond the basics, these informal, supervised sessions will enable you to hone your skills and work on strategy. Take your game to the next level and meet other players. Review aces, sevens, wild card canastas, and special hands. Prerequisite: Student must have taken “Beginner Canasta” or its equivalent.
