Conversational French This course is specifically designed for students who can already communicate in French but sometimes have difficulty understanding and expressing complex topics and nuanced ideas. Refine your conversational skills when talking about daily activities, practice discussing more challenging topics (using the news, articles, books and movies extracts), build more vocabulary, and learn more complex, subtle grammar rules to become more confident and comfortable when talking or listening to native speakers.
PATRICIA (PATTY) NEIMAN , an educator with a rich multilingual and multicultural background, is passionate about fostering her students’ conversational skills and cultural appreciation of Italian, French, and Spanish. Neiman grew up in Italy, bilingual in Italian and French. She earned a BA in both French Language and Education, and later other post-graduate certificates. Soon after, she moved to Argentina, where she was immersed in the Spanish language and local culture. Conversational Italian Vi piace parlare italiano? Improve your
conversational Italian and enhance your ability to communicate effectively. Reading stories and articles, playing games and discussing current events will help to improve your written and oral abilities. Advanced grammar will be addressed as required, with particular focus on the spoken language. This class is suitable for those who have completed SAS’s Intermediate to Advanced Italian course as well as those seeking to improve their established skills. The class is conducted in Italian.
