30 COMMERCIAL OPEN HEIFERS 35 Once again, we are offering a group of open heifers right off the top of our replacement pen. We will have 30 head available with the winning bid taking 5 or more. These girls come from cows that calve out on the range where they lay down, have their calf, and get right to mothering. We have culled our cow herd hard for years to make sure we have quality feet, udders, and disposi- tions. This is a great set of heifers who will turn into hassle free, moderate framed, working cows. We sorted this group up on March 7th where they averaged 849 lbs. They have had their first round of Express 3 FP VL5 breeding vaccine, bangs vaccinated, received Noromectin injectable, poured with Clean Up II, and are guaranteed open and breedable. We ask any local purchase of the heifers to be picked up from the Ag Expo on sale day or the day after unless other arrangements have been made. We will work with any long-distance buyers to get transportation lined up.
