Focus on Allied Health - Community Engagement

Allied Health Departments at Ryde recent community en- gagement has seen them involved with Chinese communi- ty in Eastwood, providing talks on different aspects of health and healthcare. The community is looking for more engagement and talks next year.

PMES Results 2023

Over the past month, members of the Executive Team have been meeting with managers and staff to present specific results for each division across Nursing, Medical, Allied Health, and Corporate Services.

The General Manager shared the results of the 2023 People Matter Employee Survey (PMES) this month. Ryde Hospital achieved a commendable 52% participation rate in the survey, and we extend our gratitude to all those who took the time to complete it. Notably, Ryde's Allied Health Service demonstrated outstanding commitment with an impressive 82% participation rate. The next step is to create an action plan in response to this year's survey results. If staff have any suggestions for ac- tions to address these areas of improvement or to build up- on current initiatives at Ryde Hospital, you are invited to have your say and please send your suggestions to NSLHD - RydeExecutive@health.nsw.gov.au by Monday 18 Decem- ber 2023 for consideration in the action plan. Jenny McConnell, A/General Manager expressed her heart- felt appreciation to everyone for their participation in the survey, “ the information gathered is invaluable in guiding our collective efforts to build upon our strengths and ad- dress areas requiring improvement. ”
