EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN IN OWN ORGANISATION

The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to relate their own organisation’s emergency response plan, communication procedures and rescue preparations to hub, spinner and inside including controls to prevent dropped objec ts. After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can: 16) Describe which rescue preparations, emergency communication routes and command procedures in their own organisation apply to hub, spinner and inside -blade rescue situations (Knowledge, intermediate level)

17) Act independently
to identify and report limitations or challenges in their organisation’s rescue
preparations and evacuation strategies for hub, spinner and inside

18) Take responsibility for securing tools, equipment, accessories, minor components, items and parts by adequately tethering them to prevent dropped objects during rescue operations (Ability, intermediate level)) to prevent dropped objects during demanding situations (e.g. emergency procedures and drills, adverse environmental conditions) in line with organisational instructions (Ability, basic level) 19) Apply correct precautions

20) The participants can explain what rescue preparations, emergency, communication, and command procedures apply in their own organisation (Knowledge, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
a. the number of rescue personnel available on site for a rescue operation and availability of additional rescue personnel
b.
the required level of res cue training depending on
the work location in the WTG (e.g. working in
the hub, or in the tower)
c. communication procedures during an operation, including how to contact the back
-up or rescue
team, emergency medical treatment (EMT)
(e.g. ambulance or fire service ), site lead, service vessel,
