Read and Rise ® Empowering families to support school readiness and beyond!
Professional Development A Scholastic consultant teaches 15 participants how to build capacity to strengthen their family and community engagement outreach and effectively implement the Read and Rise workshop series. HOW IT WORKS • Once our consultant teaches your facilitators, they are equipped with the tools and resources to host six workshops. • Invite families to attend one or all six sessions. Each conversation focuses on a different aspect of early literacy development. • Encourage literacy in the home with take-home resources, books, and guides for families to do together!
Read and Rise is a program designed to bring together caregivers, schools, and communities to support families as their children’s first and most important teachers and role models.
