Editor’s Note: Roxanne Ouellette, a Casselman resident, shares her me- mory of the late Queen Elizabeth when Ouellette received an assignment as the RCMP’s “Royal Photographer” during the 2002 Royal Tour in Ottawa. It was a privilege to photograph Queen Elizabeth in 2002 when she visited the new .VTJDBM3JEF$FOUSFBTQBSUPGIFS(PMEFO Jubilee celebration. Only two photographers were permitted to walk alongside the Queen EVSJOHUIFNJOVUFUPVS IFSPGàDJBMQIPUP - grapher and me. On Monday, September 19, Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest with other family members in the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle, ending the longest reign of any monarch in British history.
