The foundation recently completed raising $3 million toward the construction of a new emergency department at WellSpan York Hospital and is considering options for its next fundraising campaign. WellSpan has three other foundations – one each based in Ephrata, Gettysburg and Lebanon – to support Well- Span facilities, services and programs in those regions. WellSpan Health is an in- tegrated health system with more than 1,200 physicians that serves the communi- ties of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland.
