Manual Rack and Pinion FLAFR1515 All new design manual rack and pinion replaces the power rack for 2005-15 Mustang for significant weight savings and improved handling characteristics. Unit bolts to OEM mount, uses stock outer tie rod ends, has adjustable pinion angle and includes billet mounts. Larger rack diameter (.944") weighs only 14 lbs and is 3-3/4 turns lock to lock. Requires FLAFR1709DD universal joint (sold separately).
A bolt-in replacement for 1994-04 5.0L Mustangs without hy- droboost (non-modular motors). Saves 30 lbs. by eliminating old power rack components. Kit includes a new manual rack and pinion with chromed steel center tube and aluminum housings, universal joint, outer tie rod ends and 2-piece mounting bush- ings.
