Ue Coffee Roasters, Handcrafted in the Cotswolds Since 2009

“Our desire is for our valued customers to invest in our beliefs and practices that encompass outstanding coffee, exceptional individuals, and impeccable ethics.”

Handcrafted in the Cotswolds Since 2009

Dominic’s vision when he founded Ue Coffee Roasters in 2009 was to become the Cotswolds’ first speciality coffee roaster. His aim was to source and import his own beans, thus creating a traceable line to ensure quality and ethics. This required significant effort and time, but eventually the aroma of roasting beans and the upcoming challenge replaced Dominic’s dreams. Eventually, Ue Coffee Roasters became more successful as their reputation grew, 5 tonnes of coffee beans became 50 tonnes. Today, Dominic and his team continue to be driven by the same principles, and passion for people is evident at every stage of the Ue process, from sourcing and roasting to marketing and training our customers to stand out and stay ahead of their competition. They want their customers to believe in their ethos and invest in great coffee, great people, and great ethics, rather than seeking something generic. Dominic Boyett Business thrives on evolution, adapting, fine-tuning, and growth. Coffee is no exception. FOUNDER

The concept of coffee encompasses much more than the typical aspects one may initially think of.

Whilst we do offer top-of-the-range espresso technology, training and a diverse selection of hot chocolate and premium loose teas, our commitment to creating an exceptional coffee experience goes beyond these offerings. It all starts with the beans, and we obsess over every detail, from sourcing to roasting to educating our customers on the unique characteristics of speciality coffee. Quality is at the forefront of everything we do, from start to finish, as we aim to honour and respect both the beans themselves and our wholesale partners who enjoy them.

The alliance between coffee and conservation is now an imperative partnership that aims to prioritise the prosperity of both farmers and the land they work on, along with ensuring that you get a quality product in your cup. Ue Coffee Roasters have established a mutualistic bond with Biomma, our farmers, and fairtrade cooperatives to enhance the welfare of farmers and their communities. Our efforts extend beyond providing fair compensation for the coffee produced, as we also aim to facilitate the growth of surrounding forests. Through our long-standing trading relationships with Biomma, we have been able to support the successful management of two thriving farms in the rainforest reserves of Honduras and Colombia. Our efforts have included the planting of native trees to protect and provide shade for our harvests, as well as repurposing coffee cherry pulp into organic fertiliser. As a result of these initiatives, we have witnessed the flourishing of native wildflowers and the return of various species of native birds and bees to coexist alongside other habitats. The legacy of coffee that brings about positivity
