-conscious on a lower platform or ladder section, single rescuer
must move them up to a safer platform or exit point
b. injured person in basement or cable cellar requiring movement up to a higher level or escape route
a. only manufacturer -approved uses of rescue equipment are permitted
b. rescue equipment is used in lowering/raising configurations and cross
-hauling or deviation setups
that are explicitly allowed in the instructions for use
c. ropeway/zip -line/tramway configurations are not included in this training
d. manual-handling risk controls, communication and personal fall protection are actively applied throughout
a. rapid scene assessment and hazard identification (hazardous energies, edge risks, dropped objects, confined areas)
b. packaging and securing the injured person using previously learned methods (head support, harness, stretcher/transfer board)
c. correct selection of anchor points and rigging of the rescue system for an upward movement or repositioning
d. controlled movement of the injured person to the agreed assembly point, with appropriate checks, communication and self -protection
