GWO therefore recommends that anchor points used during rescue and evacuation exercises are placed a t a minimum height of 6.75 m above the ground , or above any structure a person could come into contact with , in the event of a fall.
Equipment standards
All equipment used during this GWO training module shall meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the national standards listed in Table A 1-1. When working in a country where there is no applicable national standard then the equipment shall meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the European standards.
